Brian Donahue, one of the authors of A New England Food Vision, discusses farming and the Vision in this interview in the Boston Globe. Donahue is a farmer and Associate Professor of American Environmental Studies at Brandeis University. He advocates for growing more vegetables on urban and suburban land and has direct experience with how this model can be successful in the region: in 1980 Donahue was a founder of Land’s Sake, a community farm in Weston, Massachusetts.
