Please join the FSNE backbone staff in welcoming our first student intern, Heather Nelson.
Heather is a junior majoring in zoology and anthropology at the University of New Hampshire. She spent much of her childhood imagining what the world could be and, through working with UNH’s Changemaker Fellowship and 826 Boston’s O’Bryant Writer’s Room, she realized her actions can change what the world “could be” into what the world “will be.” With FSNE she hopes to continue striving towards the hopeful future she knows is possible. When she isn’t working, Heather enjoys kickboxing, painting, and trying to find cool mushrooms in the woods.
Heather will be learning about our regional food system while helping with communications, events, and administrative and some basic research support for FSNE.
