Welcome FSNE’s new Network & Program Coordinator

Please join us in welcoming Sandra Aronson to the FSNE backbone team, based here at the UNH Sustainability Institute!

As our new Network and Program Coordinator for Food Solutions New England (FSNE), she is responsible for program and administrative support, event management, and stakeholder engagement. She has a background in public health, food systems research, and nutrition policy. She applies systems thinking to address challenges across the food supply chain and wants to build resiliency in these systems through strategic partnerships and collaborations. Sandra previously worked at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (now the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT) in Cali, Colombia studying the feasibility of introducing sustainability-focused strategies into municipal development plans. She also consulted and facilitated resource support to local health departments in Massachusetts during the COVID pandemic as a liaison for Partners In Health.

Sandra holds a dual MS/MPH degree from Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Tufts School of Medicine, and holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
